Poem: MOTHER

Before I was born, God looked around,
Searching for a mother just for me.
There you were, there was no other.
You were picked to be my mother.
So much of what I have become
Is because you stood by my side.
You have been there all along.
You were the one that made me strong.
You gave me love I didn't deserve,
And saw only the best in me.
Life with you was such a pleasure.
My mother, my friend you are my treasure!
